The Beginning
Foxtrot Zulu emerged from the vibrant Rhode Island music scene in the mid-1990s, quickly establishing themselves as a powerhouse in the jam band circuit.
What began as a college collaboration evolved into a nationally touring act that left an indelible mark on the New England music scene. The band performed at legendary venues like The Middle East in Cambridge and Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, building a devoted following across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Featured in Relix Magazine in June 1999 during the jam band renaissance, Foxtrot Zulu was praised for their unique blend of high-energy rock and sophisticated horn arrangements. Known for seamlessly weaving improvisation with tight, composed sections, the band collaborated with Marc Roberge of O.A.R., producing memorable recordings including "Rolling Stone."
"Foxtrot Zulu represents the best of what the jam band scene has to offer— technical proficiency, improvisational prowess, and an unwavering commitment to musical exploration."
